    Namunyak lepolosi women group  was formed in the year 2016, it is found in Narok county Kilgoris constituency, transmara west sub-county. it has network of 52 women groups.it operates under the following objectives:

    1. To enhance an understanding of youth and women rights as stated in the constitution in regards to access to education and health facilities.
    2. To advocate against harmful cultural activities such as gender based violence and beliefs where women have no rights to own property
    3. To educate women on leadership and decision.

      The project focusses on increasing access to land resources, land rights and land ownership to Maasai community in Transmara. The main objectives are:

      • To train women on land rights and land ownership  and  conducting community dialogues for women on land rights and challenges faced by women in the control and accessing land resources.
      • Strengthening networks of organized women groups leaders to advocate for their land rights,
      • involving the youth in a discussion to on land rights and challenges in accessing education.
      • Economic empowerment for women on green agriculture and other sources of income 
      • Strengthening capacity by  training women on leadership and elimination of violence to allow for confidence in the access and control of resources.
